영국의 싱어송라이터 아델(Adele)이 부른 <Rolling in the Deep>은 2011년 1월 발매한 그녀의 두 번째 정규앨범 <21>에 수록된 R&B, Soul 계열의 곡이다.

"Rolling in The Deep"은 "자신을 도와 줄 누군가가 항상 있음"을 의미한다고 하는데, 이 곡은 아델이 남자친구와 헤어지고 화가 난 상태에서 3시간 만에 만든 곡으로 알려져 있다.

 

 

곡의 내용은 평소 사랑하였던 사람을 자신은 항상 자신을 도와 줄 사람으로 알고 있었는데 막상 상대방은 주변에 자신과 있었던 사적인 일들을 이야기하고 다닌 것을 알고 똑 같이 복수하여 주겠다는 내용의 노래이다.

아델은 1988년 영국출신으로 단 2장의 앨범으로 2010년대 가장 많은 앨범을 판매한 가수로 알려져 있다.
