이 곡은 로보가 고3때 아름다운 선생님을 흠모하였던 감정을 되 살려 만든 곡으로 알려져 있습니다.

내가 당신을 사랑하는 만큼 당신도 날 사랑하여 주었으면 좋겠다는 내용으로 어쩌면 구애의 노래로 들리기도 합니다.

로보는 1943년 미국 플로리다 출신으로 본명은 롤랜드 켄트 라보이(Roland Kent Lavoie)으로 고등학교 때 부터 밴드화롱을 시작하였으며 1971년 로보(Lobo)라는 예명으로 솔로로 데뷔하였습니다.

'Lobo'는 스페인어로 '늑대'라는 뜻이라 합니다.
